We visited the architects behind Cree – Creative Resource & Energy Efficiency, pioneers in Austria’s first eight-storey wooden building, a project focused on sustainability in urban development. We join a park ranger as she takes her class outdoors, teaching them about the diverse insects and creatures of the Alps. Additionally, we interview an ecologist promoting habitat creation in urban spaces and speak with engineers from the Energy Institute Vorarlberg, who are developing strategies, concepts, and tools—known as PEMO—to reduce car traffic in commuter areas.
